Spoiler - JotPK Arcade machine for your home DO NOT use the skull grave stone (Nuke) on any of the bosses as you'll be trapped and will have to restart the game. This strategy can be used to save some time. When you are on the boss's side of the river you cannot deal damage while he is still behind the fence. It does not always succeed in doing so, so be advised. smoke bomb/teleporter can be used during the first and second bosses to move you character across the river. You can make it through zone two with no ammo upgrade, but you will be murdered if you don't have two ammo upgrades bought for zone 3. Purchase one box before moving to the next zone.I beat her my first play through with no boots, but I had a lot of lives. This is because she shoots faster than you can move with no upgrades so dodging can be very difficult. The last boss can be difficult if you have only a few lives remaining and no boot upgrades.A good one to keep is the skull gravestone which will kill all enemies on the map instantly in case you get in trouble. Keeping it in reserve can help you to chain together multiple power ups as you mow down enemies. Keep an item in the slot so that you don't have to keep hitting space to use an item you pick up.(Note you can still move after the bears come to pick you up, so if you forget to grab the extra life, move to where it dropped and you can still get it!) You get a life when you kill a boss (except for the final boss) so grab the life before you take the final item that takes you to the next zone. This will cause the boss to "rest" outside of his protective fence. When you are fighting the first two bosses (Which are pretty much the same AI) move your character slightly to the left, and when they move go to the far right and hide back behind the fence/barrel.I say this because in the later levels you will be swarmed with enemies that you need to be able to kill with only one-two shots. The Ammo Upgrade is probably the most important upgrade, with the revolver being the second most important.Focus on the butterflies while taking out any mushrooms that get near or across the bridges. 2-3 has a bunch of bridges which force the non-flying baddies into narrow kill lanes. Level 1-3 for example is super easy because you can just stay inside the "fort" and defend the narrow entrances. Some stages have inherent geographical advantage.Combined with a Wagon Wheel you can effortlessly clear the map continually for ~1/4 of the timer. It's equivalent to Shotgun+Machinegun+Coffee. The sheriff's badge is the best item in the game.On earlier levels you can mitigate this a bit by waiting for enemies to get closer first.but on later stages it's so hectic you won't have a choice. Always make sure you're firing INTO the spawn if you ever have to go near one to pick up an item, just in case something decides to pop up and ruin your day. Picking up an item can be risky if it's near a spawn.Note You can only purchase 1 item every two screens. Here are the items you can purchase: Upgrade Thanks /u/unidentifiable) These will help get you upgrades that will make the game much smoother. Make sure you get every coin you possibly can, especially S "5" coins.Lucky days and boosts have no effect on the outcome of the game. As /u/WaffleSandwhiches pointed out you will have an increase in weapons, coins, and lives dropping from enemies. Play it on a day where the fortune teller says you will have good luck.Ok guys so I've beat Prairie King a few times now and I think I can give some of you who are struggling some tips if you want to win.
